How We Love Small Group

  • 20716 Camelback Lago Vista, TX, 78645 United States (map)

Shiloh is starting a small group around the book How We Love by Milan & Kay Yerkovich. The book draws on the powerful tool of attachment theory to show how your early life experiences create an “intimacy imprint” (or love style); this blueprint shapes your behavior, beliefs, and expectations in all your relationships, especially marriage.  Your Love Style – or Attachment Style – is primarily activated and expressed in your closest relationships, often marriage or a serious dating relationship. It can also be expressed between friends, boss and employer, or parent and child.

This study will explain five broken Attachment Styles, or Love Styles, that prevent intimacy and effective communication in relationships. Through understanding our Love Styles, we can seek healing, develop skills, and grow in wisdom and maturity — becoming more like Christ, a Secure Connector. (Ephesians 4:13-16).

The cost is $20 per person which covers your workbook. You are not required to purchase the book, How We Love, though highly recommended because the book goes into deeper detail for the best understanding of the material.  We will be meeting for about 8 weeks with a couple of breaks in between.  Please register by 2/14 by clicking below.
